From the target to the net result
You define the campaign with its name, cause, target amount and deadline. As money comes in — in the bank, in cash or at an event — your team records the amounts as donations and links them to the campaign and the donor. Progress shows how much has been raised against the target and how much is missing, and the breakdown by source shows what each channel brought in. At the close you see the campaign’s net result, from the same data. 4ong does not generate a narrative campaign report: the figures are in the panel, and the text for your board or supporters is yours to write.
Corporate sponsorship, handled separately
A sponsorship from a company does not behave like an individual gift: it has a contract, payment instalments and promised benefits (a logo on materials, presence at an event). In 4ong the sponsorship contract is numbered and holds the instalments, the benefits and the registry status at signing, and at year end you can pull the yearly list of sponsors, which helps the sponsor with their own tax declaration. 4ong files nothing — the sponsor does.
Who you address: group the supporters in your own base
The cheapest gift is the one that comes from an existing supporter. Before the campaign you group your contacts with tags and roles — those who give steadily, those who gave a large amount, those who have not given in two years — and each contact has GDPR consent recorded per channel, with history, so you know where you may contact them. You send the messages yourself, outside the platform: 4ong does not send e-mails, SMS or thank-you messages on your behalf.
Charity events and on-the-ground collections
Many campaigns also have an offline component: a charity concert, a fair, a collection at a sports event. The amounts collected there are recorded as donations of the campaign, with date and type, so they appear in the same total and the same breakdown by source as gifts received through the bank. The event is no longer a lump sum in a separate spreadsheet, but a source of the campaign.
