4ong is a back-office workspace built for associations, foundations and federations — non-profits that have to account for every unit of funding they receive. We started from something you see in almost any organisation: donor records sit in five Excel files, volunteering hours on printed timesheets, sponsorship agreements in a paper folder, and the report to the funder gets rebuilt by hand in the last week before the deadline. 4ong brings them together as records kept by your team: a record for each contact with GDPR consent per channel; donations entered manually and linked to the donor and the campaign; recurring pledges with their next due date and missed payments; fundraising campaigns with a goal and live progress; a volunteer register with agreements and hours entered and validated by the organisation; numbered sponsorship agreements; members and dues with the voting list for the general assembly; grant-funded projects with budget lines, expenses and reporting deadlines; plus income and top-donor reports. 4ong does not process payments and does not send messages: you record the donations, and the tax filings are made by you or your accountant. An NGO cannot budget for expensive licences. The first 12 months are free, with no card, and plan prices are shown on the pricing page. The number of users is capped per plan (5, 25, 50 or 100), as are contacts, campaigns per month, active volunteers and open projects. A few features unlock by plan: numbered receipts with the annual donation certificate, the recurring-pledge register and funded-project tracking from the Plus plan, and the LYBUNT/SYBUNT and retention reports from the Pro plan. You know in advance what each tier includes.
An NGO is not judged on its mission alone, but on its records. 4ong ties every donation to the donor and the campaign, so you can always show where an amount came from and what each campaign raised. Donations are never deleted, only cancelled, and receipts are numbered without gaps. Sponsorship agreements are numbered, with instalments, benefits and the yearly sponsor list — not searched for in binders.
A non-governmental organisation routinely handles sensitive data — from beneficiaries in vulnerable situations to underage volunteers. In 4ong, GDPR consent is recorded per channel (e-mail, SMS, phone, post) with its history; access is granted by role, per section; and anonymisation on a person’s request is done inside the platform, not in a spreadsheet kept on the side.
4ong is built by a product team starting from the concrete needs of non-governmental organisations: small associations with two employees and dozens of volunteers, foundations running grant-funded projects, and federations with branches. Contacts you already keep in files can be imported from CSV, with a dry run first and duplicate detection by e-mail or company ID; the rest of the records are entered in the workspace by your team.
Sign-in with an account and role-based permissions per section — a volunteer coordinator does not need to see donation amounts, while a board member can be given access to reports only. GDPR consent per channel and anonymisation on request are managed inside the platform. Alerts — missed pledge payments, dues arrears, project reporting deadlines — appear in the application; 4ong does not send e-mails, SMS or WhatsApp messages.
4ong is part of the 4b2b ecosystem, but it does not exchange data with the other applications. 4invoices.net (invoicing), 4conta.ro (accounting), 4notify.net (SMS/Email/WhatsApp notifications), 4myprojects.net (projects) and 4hosting.net (hosting) are separate products with their own accounts and data. If you need them, you use them alongside 4ong as independent applications; data in 4ong is not synchronised with them and is not exported to them automatically.
