4ong is a management platform built for the associations, foundations and federations working in Romania — non-profits set up under Government Ordinance 26/2000, which have to account for every leu they receive. We started from something you see in almost any organisation: donor records sit in five Excel files, volunteering hours on printed timesheets, sponsorship agreements in a paper folder, and the report to the funder gets rebuilt by hand in the last week before the deadline. 4ong brings them together: a record for each donor with the full giving history, recurring donations tracked automatically, fundraising campaigns with a goal and live progress, a volunteer register with the agreements required by Law 78/2014 and the hours served, grant-funded projects with their budget and their reporting to the funder, membership and dues records, plus the reports your board actually asks for. No per-user pricing

An NGO cannot budget a licence for every person who needs access. Add every volunteer coordinator, your fundraising manager, your accountant and the board members without the subscription climbing with each person. Every feature is included — there is no “move up a plan to see the funder report”. In an organisation where every leu of overhead is scrutinised, that matters more than any discount.

Transparency, because it is expected of you

An NGO is not judged on its mission alone, but on its records. 4ong ties every donation to the donor, the campaign and the project that used the money, so you can always show who you thanked, where the amount went and what it produced. Sponsorship agreements signed under Law 32/1994 and the form 230 filings that redirect 3.5% of income tax are tracked per fiscal year, with deadlines and consolidated status — not searched for in binders.

Your supporters’ data, in the EU

Donor, volunteer and beneficiary data is hosted in the European Union, encrypted in transit and at rest, with role-based access. A non-governmental organisation routinely handles sensitive data — from beneficiaries in vulnerable situations to underage volunteers — so the lawful basis, consent and erasure requests required by the GDPR are managed inside the platform, not in a spreadsheet kept on the side.

The team

4ong is built by a product team that works side by side with real organisations: small associations with two employees and dozens of volunteers, foundations running grant-funded projects, and federations coordinating branches across the country. Every account gets onboarding and dedicated support — we take over your donor and member lists from the files you use today, together with the giving history and the dues records, we set up your running campaigns and membership types, and we stay with you through the first reports to your funders and the first board meeting held on platform reports. You keep your history and you re-enter nothing by hand.

Security and compliance

GDPR compliance, with data hosted in the European Union. Encryption in transit and at rest for donor, volunteer and beneficiary data. Secure sign-in and role-based permissions — a volunteer coordinator does not need to see donation amounts, while a board member sees the aggregated reports without going through individual records. Access logs, regular backups and monitored infrastructure, with high uptime and an SLA for organisations on the higher plans.

Part of the 4b2b ecosystem

4ong is not a stand-alone app. A donation is recorded in the platform, and when you need an invoice for a funder or a document for a partner it is issued through 4invoices.net; the association’s trial balance and financial statements are kept in 4conta.ro; donors, members and volunteers automatically receive thank-you messages, dues reminders and meeting notices through 4notify.net; funded projects are planned by activity, owner and deadline in 4myprojects.net; and the campaign website runs on 4hosting.net. One account and one invoice, from the first donation to the final report to the funder.
